I saw the Sky Sports tweet and initially thought they'd made a typo...definitely a bit out of the blue!! Only til the end of the season as it stands but be interesting to see what happens if he does well and folk are still not happy with Van Gaal at United.

I can fully understand that decision
What with Reading being a whole one point, and three places off play off places

Bolton v Brentford the other night was awful so if it was worse than that i did the right thing not watching!
Bolton/Brentford was the 1970 world cup final compared to last nights game.
if both those teams are there or thereabouts in the play off race then, barring a few teams, the championship is p poor.

Not me; he's been rubbish for months, with a record you just can't defend.
A Swansea legend. but memories don't put points on the board.
For the sake of the club, I hope he doesn't turn up here (no way that will happen though).

He's been linked very heavily with it but I can't see it either, though he is loved there. Even though he nearly won "us" (I use that incredibly lightly) the league it was just Suarez papering over the cracks. He isn't a good top flight manager.
Feel a bit bad for Monk though; he did really well up until recently and seems a genuinely nice bloke. I'd have stuck and given him until Christmas, then if things stayed the same give a new manager the reigns for the January window.

Brendan is a poor manager, although he did bring a lot of professionalism back to Liverpool after the reign of the mad king.

I thought Mr. Kenny Dalglish Sr did alright. Won the league cup and nearly the FA cup, and took "us" from about 17th to 7th or 8th.

I think he's got a bit of an inflated ego, especially after the nearly season with Suarez, being reported that he thinks the Swansea job would now be a backward step for him!
