As for us....a shocking piece of business. Not from the point of view that we've failed to keep hold of him, but we've done the deal (like we did with Sam Clucas) so close to the start of the season and before we signed a replacement. Now every man and his dog assumes we have cash and watch the prices inflate accordingly.

Can't get too enthusiastic about the new season.
At least the pathetic performances at the County Ground are keeping my mind off it.
Born to support Town and Derbyshire cc
Woe is me

Only positive is its not the 30th August and we have time (assuming we have the will to sign anyone)
I've got to say, this close season has been almost as demoralising as the whole of the 2011/12 season. Deflated at the moment.
Good luck Tendayi, you deserve Championship football under a good manager

Can they cancel the game at the Monkey hangers Saturday, to ensure we'll have 11 for the start of the season.
IMO; Don't think the table will look good at the end of August.
Ashley where are they??

I really hope we've got at least 500K and that would be cheap as chips, because if he started the season like he did in pre-season he'd have teams fighting over each other to be first in the queue at the Proact (basically we'd have got 500K all day long), so I won't be happy at a penny less.
Regardless to what many believe I actually think Tendayi (as well as Morsy

Tut tut Bankrobber. Don't you know there are tonnes of way better players out there wanting to come and play for us for free or just waiting to be magically scouted up from the lower leagues within a few days. Absolutely no problems here whatsoever we'll be laughing come christmas time. (wow if this is how the 'Thou shalt never criticize the football club brigade' feel I want some of what they are on)
FWIW I agree entirely, shouldn't be shaking things up so much given the fact pre season is nearly over and the season is upon us. Last season we kept the vast majority together and only needed a few tweeks and look at the start we had. No coincidence.

Got to agree. TD was a Spireite till the end, playing brilliant yet again at Ilkeston, I will continue to follow his career with great interest into the Prem.and International recognition. All the very best to him. As for Morsy, to lose him would be the biggest blow of all.For the Club's sake I hope CT sticks to his word and brings in the players to excite the fans, which he has promised.

I will follow TD almost as if he were still in a Blue shirt. Good luck to the lad. Undisclosed or whatever, it's time to let the purse strings drop open and sign all of these players we've been scouting. Just think - the rumours thread might actually be worthwhile reading in the next seven days ..... lol.
19th by Christmas at this rate.....and that's optimistic.
