When I first saw town Hollett and Randall were the strikers then it was Moss and Randall. Sad that none of them are now still with us.

When I scored a rare goal for New Whitt Junior School, against Hipper, I ran off jumping in the air and waving one arm. The teacher said "Alright, Ivan Hollett. That's enough."

Not sure if it was Dennis Law or Ivan who initiated the one arm wheel celebration with the cuff of a long sleeve shirt gripped in hand.....First real hero for me.

Ivan was a great player and a lovely entertaining man with an undying love for the game.
I met him quite a few times as after his football came to an end he became a company rep for Perrard Engineering. He always came to see me when I worked for British Coal , we talked more about his football career than business. On one occasion he lent me 2 huge scrap books that he had built up highlighting all his goals during his accomplished career which he let me take home to show my dad who also was a huge fan.
Rest in Peace Ivan.
