I see it's been announced that former Spireite Billy McEwan who played 80 games for us between 1974-1975 has passed away aged 70.

Billy was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 2014.

RIP Billy one of my favourite players (an energetic midfielder) back in the day

Played RB too

Sad, RIP Billy.

As Moondog says very energetic, gave his all for his team, left nothing on the pitch. And of course was manager at a number of local clubs.
