In the first-leg between @ChesterfieldFC and @WFCOfficial, Kyle McFadzean recorded 113 successful passes and 132 touches of the ball, both league-high figures for a Chesterfield player in a match this campaign 📈

His 113 completed passes were only 20 fewer than the whole of Walsall's team combined (133)🤯

I am guessing that the majority of those were at walking pace, across the back, and under no pressure. Wow, only twenty fewer than the whole Walsall team ! Result - Walsall 2 Town 0.
I watched Stockport v Orient tonight, and the game was played at an intensity and pace for 2 hours that I don't think our current squad could live with. Walking football it was not.

Lets also add, highly trained professional medics, letting their professional colleagues credibility down by apparently not knowing what leg to treat.

And that affects the game and none of the others listed do - chalk and cheese , apples and oranges, physios and con-artists.

If players and fans supported by clubs made a concerted effort, then surely we can at least get then to consider improving the matchday experience for everyone's benefit. As far as I can see it's a win win for all concerned so why wouldn't they. Who would actually WANT to support cheating.

Is it just us ? Can somebody contact every supporters organisation and see if the frustration expressed on here is sufficiently strong and widespread for a concerted combined appeal to the powers that be to eradicate this cheating.
Sorry, it can't be me - too ancient , not got the resources or the energy.

What's needed is that the ref's report should include the number of occurrences and then an admin bod or A.I. at the FA can collate them. Then punish on a tot up basis.

In a crucial game at a seasons end that won't work - by the time the totting up kicks in the season would be over. Punishment must take place within the game that the offence occurs - that is the only time it matters.
The fans know it's cheating, the officials know it's cheating ,the FA know it's cheating. Some reasonable ideas on here - petition needed with thousands of supporters signed up to it from every professional club in the land.We even have commentators recognising it for what it is. As soon as a player feigns injury, the game stops, and the magic recovery occurs - did I hear one call it a tactical break ?
