Match Streams
02 October 2024 - 04:25 PM
Looking at the Bromley thread I see people struggling to find the streams. If you try and Google it it?s basically impossible. It just shows links to the previous service we had in the NL. Whilst it is in the official site it isn?t prominent.
So for future reference bookmark this link.

Cndrh Parking Cowboys
22 August 2024 - 08:01 PM
Back in July I took my mother in law to CNDRH after she broke her foot. I left after an hour returned to my car and drove to the exit barrier where there is a pay on exit machine.
The car in front on me was taking a long time before giving up and reversing back from the barrier. I pulled up to the barrier and the display that tells you the fee just whirled round and nothing happened. Eventually I pressed the help button and after about 5 minutes a man mumbled something and I explained that the barrier wasn?t working. He mumbled something back and raised the barrier so I could exit.
2 weeks later I got a fine notice through the post for failing to pay. I appealed that the barrier was clearly faulty and one of their employees let me out without asking for any payment.
Just had the result of the appeal. Turned down as not a valid reason. So basically as their equipment was broken and their employee let me out that was not a reason to not pay?
How on Gods Green Earth can I be fined because of their faulty equipment.
I?m of a mind not to pay as the whole thing stinks to high heaven.
Anyone any idea of what would happen if I just ignored the robbing bastards and didn?t pay? -

Just something that popped up on my feed. Thought I?d just post a link for anyone who hadn?t seen it.
Don?t worry about him calling us Chesterfield City, someone?s already corrected him in the comments.

Question For Those With Fibre Broadband Knowkedge
22 July 2024 - 06:09 PM
Just a quickie really, struggling to find an answer via the medium of Google and knowing that Town fans are amongst the most intelligent species on earth I?m sure someone must know the answer.
I have full fibre internet that comes into the house via a little box on the exterior kitchen wall. The router therefore is in the kitchen. The signal goes all over the house but I have to use extender discs to get a signal in the extension. The speed in there drops to around 30 Mbps from the 150 it is around the rest of the house. I can?t use extenders via the electric sockets as the extension is on a different wiring loop to the rest of the house.
Basically what I was wanting to know is can you run a cable down the outside of the house from the router through the wall into the extension to effectively make a wired Ethernet port as we?d like to make that room into a gaming room and have the Xbox and Sky Q mini box connected via Ethernet rather than WiFi due to the not great speed. Not at all practical to run a cable internally.
I?m sure it must be doable so does anyone have any knowledge of a local company that can do this, I?m sure it must be a simple enough job, drilling a couple of holes, pinning up some cable and fitting an Ethernet socket but my practical skills are somewhat lacking and as I own none of the tools required for such an undertaking I?d rather pay for someone to it properly.
Many Thanks

Bristol Street Motors Trophy
22 July 2024 - 03:03 PM
I see some other teams have already got these fixtures arranged. On the Lincoln site we are down as playing there on the 3rd Sept ( does have TBC) next to it but the fixtures against Grimsby and Man City are also down with actual dates (albeit TBC).
Nothing on our site or our fixture list. Do clubs have to sort these out themselves? Are there not set dates that they are played on?
Can?t remember this kind of faff last time we played in this competition.

14 Sep 2011 - 16:26I've sent an e-mail asking all those questions particularly 'How are they going to accommodate all the LC holders if the Sheff Utd tickets sell out?' I've also reminded them of contractual obligations and position regarding fair trading. I await their reply. Clearly they're going to try and bluff their way through this.
