Dreadful news, i met Phil at the Player of the Year when we won the National League, i had a Vanarama Medal around my neck he said where did you get that from i said not you, and we laughed, having had cancer and survived it despite a bad prognosis i had a 20% to 30% chance of cure, it doesn't sound great for Phil but never give up hope, i am still here 25 years later, all the best Phil.
