    Metcalf is a non brainer for me, if he can progress as quickly as he did from the start of the season to the last 3 months again then we'll have one of the best midfielders in the league on our hands.

    Fleck is an excellent mentor too, his prime was spent as an box-to-box instigator and Metcalf looks like he has the similar traits of energy, eye for a pass and ability to finish to chip in with a few goals next season.

    Fee is irrelevant, it’s total cost. These are just guesses but showing you the idea.

    Pearce = 150k transfer fee plus 3 years at 3k a week = total cost £618k
    Grigg = 0k (which he wasn’t) plus 3 years at 4k rumoured a week = £624k

    I'm coming around to the idea. He's scored 30 goals+ a season for the last few years and looks like he has an eye for a pass too.

    His age doesn't scream good investment but if his wages are lower than a Grigg or Naylor I imagine the cost over 3 years could be similar.

    We haven't had a 20 a goal striker since Kabby and although Cook teams tend to share them around, we were at our best when Doyle was finishing every chance he looked at.
