Flip side of all this….midfield two of fleck and morsy? All the fussing about no legs in midfield.

I thought 🤔 some on here didn't want a team full of dad's Army players 😁

Happy with it to be fair

4 leaving and maybe one or two others gives enough room in the squad to bring in some quality

Lets face it, we came 7th in a season ruined by injuries and the need to rebuild in January, the squad isn’t terrible whatever the doom mongers say and with a few quality additions we will be up there

Exactly I said it be about 6 in and out no need for mass change, cook knows what he's doing although some on this board think they know better lol 😆

    Notts County fan posted this

    Sound familiar?

Same old story, I feel like a cracked record.

Loads of possession, but all too slow, players wanting far too many touches on the ball, and the patterns of play are monotonously predictable. The narrative will be that we're "controlling" the game, but Wimbledon are laughing behind their hands at us and could easily have grabbed a second goal from one straight clearance down the pitch.

I could describe it as 'style versus substance', but to be honest I don't even think we're that stylish. Just a bunch of lightweights. Bill Shankly used to dismissively call Tottenham the "Drury Lane tap dancers". We look like the modern League Two equivalent, and as much as I might hope, I can't see a Stuart Maynard half-time team talk changing that.

    Please prove me wrong, Notts...

Oh dear, That style of football as your referring to got Paul Cook teams 4 league titles
including 2 with us long may it continue, I would rather play like we do than Walsall every day of the week,

I’m not disagreeing with anything you’ve said — I just don’t understand the negativity and animosity.

We were superb tonight, and yet your response is that I must have been smoking something? Bit bizarre, to be honest.

I think we played well tonight 76% possession but final ball let us down , it is what it is was a bonus getting into playoffs, especially after Tranmere game , and if it wasn't for all injuries we would have gone up Automatically imo, let's regroup let's see who's released, think we will be stronger next season, that Rochdale striker who scored 2 in national league playoffs could be worth a look at is it Rondon could be wrong on name ? ,good first season back in EFL , COYB
