Very very underwhelmed by the list of those with triggers activated.
There was a chance for a real clear out and to go big next season.
Realistically, we’ve freed up about 3/4 spaces so there certainly won’t be loads coming in as we know Cook doesn’t like a huge squad.

Cook said a few times over the year about some players not quite being up to the mark. I can’t believe that it’s only those few released that he was referring to.

It’s extremely difficult to play against a team who drop back so deep, glad we don’t play like that because if we did I would probably not go.
For all the master tacticians who promoted gung ho from the start, they scored when we went that way which isn’t unsurprising.
After all the injuries etc this season it was probably two games too far but we still maintained our upwards progression. That’s four seasons where we have been champions or involved in playoffs, a record many teams would be proud of, I await next season with a positive outlook.

Problem is though that we allowed that to happen by just passing across the back 4/5, giving them time to defend deep and in numbers. There was no pace to our play at all. As I’ve said, we made this tie far far too easy for them with our tactics.

Massive dislike for Walsall now. Hope to see some tears of sadness next Monday.

Can’t see them beating either of the other 2.
    They aren’t a good team.

Not done so well on here though

I think it’s fair that there’s a lot of disappointment in these 2 performances.
We were poor and didn’t deserve anything against an average team in very poor form with no confidence.
We’ve missed a huge opportunity there.
I’d hope that Cook is disappointed too.

Disappointing thing for me is that we can’t say that we gave it everything in these 2 games and came out second best.

Quality showing and noise from our fans. Well done to everyone there.
