    Fair result over 90 minutes.

Fantastic game of football, brilliant entertainment for about £20!

Compare that to some sterile Premier League matches with tickets costing circa £80 - assuming you can actually get one!

Just jump on the train at Rock Ferry and take your pick of Lime Street, James Street, Liverpool Central or Moorfields. Only 20 minutes away.

It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Rock Ferry to Prenton Park.

There are 6 trains per hour between Rock Ferry and all the Liverpool Underground stations listed above.

The Captain Alexander is a cracking Wetherspoons directly opposite James Street station and boasts a great roof terrace!

Starting with Sparkes demise at Salford we are currently losing a full back for the season (allegedly) approximately every hour, oh well.

Being an East Stand occupant what was your view on the (deliberate from a west stand view) elbow on Don....?

Could not make the match as on holiday but watched the game on TV, including replays of the incident…

The Harrogate man knew what he was doing and could easily have seen red for the challenge, perhaps if Don had made of it then maybe…or if the challenge has taken place in front of the dugouts!

In the VAR era if the ref had issued a red card then VAR wouldn’t have overturned it!

I don't see any real difference in the general standard of play although as you say a lot of teams can punish you because they have the odd player with serious ability.

As well has some of the dross we have lost to there's the matter of Bromley coasting it. All this suggests the step of in quality is not that great and I would expect the top half of the NL to survive comfortably in this league with a bit of strengthening as always happens when clubs step up a league.

I think there is more pace in L2, the fitness levels seem higher, possibly helped by being able to make more substitutions than National League and thereby having a larger squad of players to rotate/pick from…?

I think also players ‘first touch’ is better?

The standard of officiating is definitely no better though….!

MOM for me was probably Palmer. Thought he was outstanding.
Set up a goal and defended well.
Not sure about the peno shout, which was waved away.

BTW, what a decent referee we had today. Best I've seen this season

Indeed, who was the ref, didn?t notice him until he blew the final whistle!

Always a sign of a top ref, let the game breath and let the players showcase their talents, instead of trying to take centre stage.
