Ludicrous signing, in the best possible way.

Think that is when it stops being a debate and defeats the object of a forum?

Nah, that's if someone types END OF .

I'll not have a bad word said against that fine bastion of football finance and administration! https://x.com/i/stat...034293007102173

And as sure as night follows day, look at the slurps on this. https://x.com/AlanBi...894636596400597

I'm in two minds whether to rush for the sick bucket or to look up the word irony in the dictionary.

Turner's speech there reminds me of his phone interview about the MK Dons cup match being replayed (I think it was). There is an enormous lack of self-awareness in him banging on about rotten owners who need to be removed.

St Mirren fans do seem to rate Hemming, looking at Pieandbovril forum. I don’t like the way he wound up the Ayr fans when playing for Killie, but he’s probably grown up since then. Sounds like he’d be good for League Two but coming from Boro, he won’t be on pennies.

All positive stuff, on the face of it. I hope it all goes well for them - like many town fans I see Matlock as like a baby brother or baby nephew.

But it has so much of a Darren Brown smell to it.

It would be great if Matlock could establish themselves as a national league side.

    But it smells like…………..

I don't know who the mystery negger is that downvotes any post pointing out the obvious path to absolute disaster Matlock are following- fixed that for you, not that it's important. Anyhow, nice to know Matlock will have Starlink.

Sheffield FC are signing a few decent players for step 5 which they have fallen to- they should be back up soon, though I don't know if they have Starlink.
