If it happened, it can only have been once in 2008.

What years did that happen? Don't recall it.

whenever Vaughan played for the Puddings in the Park in the t20 competition that started in 2004 I think and Vaughan finished playing for the Puddings in 2009

There is no issue spending money on a keeper but As far as I can find, and I stand to be corrected, only two times ever has a League Two club paid £150k or more for a keeper. Both by Peterborough for Shwan Jalal and Joe Lewis. I’d be absolutely astonished if as a league two club we are dropping anywhere near £150k on a keeper.

if I remember rightly we paid £100,000 for John Turner from Torquay 45 years ago but we were the equivalent of a 1st division team at the time lol

all the fuss about our young Afghan bowler being made to come back out to field by the umpires after he had finished his bowling made me smile thinking back to when Michael Vaughan played for the Puddings

If they batted first in the t20 match in the Park Vaughan never came out to field when we batted and the umpires never did anything about it lol

He probably thought it was beneath him to have to field on the Queens Park the arrogant *****

Maybe, but he bowled superbly last night.

yes but we need more than the occasional good display from him against his former team for us to progress in the t20 blast

Lets hope that Donald has realised you can go past 50 in this competition as well

the extra 20 or so runs more than he normally scores helped us towards nearly 200 which obviously put more pressure on the notts batsmen which they could not cope with
