We would lose out on GD if Wimbledon lost. Unless we score 3 more than Wimbledon. Thats how I see it.
but if we win and they lose the goal difference which is +2 in their favour at the moment would be at least equal and as we have scored 20+ more goals we would go above wimbledon -

We did up until the end of 1977/78 , when I started going the following season they moved to 3pm !!
it was Arthur Cox who moved our kick off time to fall in line with the normal 3pm ko time
apparantly he wanted our victories to be announced with all the other classified results instead of the normal result not yet in with the 315 ko time -

I see Andy Holt has resigned as director at Accy. Don’t know what the full story is.
to be fair he hasnt done a bad job at Accy since apparantly deciding to buy the club by accident
The story goes that his company sponsored a match and drank the sponsors lounge bar dry and Holt had to send club officials to buy more alcohol with his own money
he suddenly decided as the story goes that to stop that happening to future match sponsors he would buy the club to make sure that the bar had ample stock in the future -

without any alarms
the only real excitement was the two wickets in the last over before lunch which i just missed having made an
early start to the chip shop just outside the ground lol -

Ivan Hollett with his great leap at the far post for our goal
Andy Wilson leaving jimmy Armfield with twisted blood after running him ragged
pete Neale firing the ball into the roof of the net for the winning goal just unfortunate that it was into our net though and right in front of us on their massive kop end
