No idea what his success rate was but Mike Pollitt seemed to save most taken against him. Perhaps that's just my memory and time playing tricks.
He saved pens in the first two pre-season games against SW & Derby (both at home) but I think he conceded all 6 taken against him in the League, all away from home, Exeter, Dale, Lincoln, Orient, Cardiff, Hull, so 100% at Saltergate, 0% on the road! Happy to be corrected.

So we’ve got a problem conceding soft goals by the managers own words yet he wants to keep the same defenders. Williams may never play again and we’ve offered him a new deal.
That's what you call being a good employer. One of your own suffers a major potentially life changing injury whilst at work so you decide to give them the best possible chance to recover fully. Delighted with that! -

He was at the Sutcliffe/Turner Academy for about 20 minutes before coming over the road to join our youth team, in September 2015. He may have been a discovery of theirs, or he may just have gone to the wrong place. At the end of 15-16 he was snapped up by Ross County. I can't say for sure whether we offered him anything or not, but I doubt we did.
His Dad, Harry Dunn, was at Sunderland at the same time as Turner. He was The Star's Barnsley POTY last week. I was at the event with Mick Henderson who didn't know Davis's heritage and was amazed when I said he was Harry Dunn's lad as Mick too was a great mate of said father when at Sunderland. Mick introduced himself to Davis and was delighted I'd told him the link.
