What really makes my s**t itch is the one-upmanship played out by our politicians, all of them.

Yesterday at PMQ's Badenoch began grilling Starmer about his resistance to having a Public Inquiry into the grooming gangs. Rather than answer the question his response was something like "Well you didn't do much about it when you were in government". Is he factually correct in saying that? Yes he is, the Tories record on this subject is just as bad.

What I find incredible is that he thinks his answer is good enough to pacify the British public. He thinks saying "You lot were as bad as we are" is good enough to put the subject to bed. She was accusing him of exactly the same things he accused Sunak of when the Tories were in government.

All Labour have done is to try and sweep this under the carpet just like the Tories did. Why don't our politicians put their hands up, admit nothing has been done but get on with curing the grooming gang infestation we have in our cities.

You are never going to cure a problem by blaming someone else.

The regularity with which questions are evaded has long irked back bench MP's. Points of Order, the easy way to stop it, are not permitted at QT.

    Lump on it

I'm thinking a double on both us and Carlisle keeping a clean sheet might be a good bet. That combo needs to happen for us to get to heaven, imo.

Bluddy hell. I'm already in divorce territory just through watching highlights and commenting on here.

The highlights are edited at the home of IMG at Stockley Park who provide the commentaries for all the EFL games.

On a matchday you'll get a home commentary, an away commentary and a neutral one (usually in a booth at Stockley Park).

On Saturday for example, you will have had a CFC commentary person usually Steve Yorke, a Morecambe one provided by their local radio station and a neutral sat watching the live feed (randomly selected by IMG).

Sometimes the highlights package are voiced overnight after the game, to appear as live but not actually.

I don't think Steve is the voice on the official CFC Youtube channel video. In fact I don't think I've heard him since our NL days. Might be wrong though.

    agreed

Yep. Poor pass out made for a very easy turnover but I thought there was a distinct lack of general urgency both in trying to get the ball back and proper marking. Boot should have cleaned both Gordon and Slew out.
