Salford, just like us, could go ahead and draw or even lose. As they say in showbiz, it's not how you start it's how you finish! We might get lucky, we might not.

How long have you watched football? Teams scoring first usually win. Teams gunning for something, scoring first against a relegated side, I should imagine nearly always win.

I just hope Salford don’t take an early lead and kill the atmosphere , I want our afternoon to be full of hope and just have a good day with a little bit of drama thrown in. Hopefully we win and if we make it great but if not , considering some of the decisions from referees and the amount of injuries we’ve faced , I’d say it’s been a very very decent first season back. Love Paul Cook me.

Your opening sentence echoes a lot of my and friends sentiments. One goal up early, and I can see them scoring 3 or 4.
Would be great to hear that Stockton or Tilt (he’s had two this season) are red carded in the first 10 minutes.

B'wood number 3 Ilesanmi certainly scored the winner but he didn't seem to score either of the own goals- Reynolds then Bush, it seems put those in...? The commentator also credited Ilesanmi with the effort which was heroically cleared off the line on 95 mins when it wasn't him. Perhaps he thinks Borehamwood are a team of Ilesanmis.

And BW’s own match report on their website states that Ilesanmi scored two own goals. It looks like that’s how it will be recorded. Strange one.

Anyone else recieved a parking fine from the home game 21/4/25 for parking behind asda?

Been parking here for years with no issues. Looking at the photo’s it looks as though a parking warden has walked around and physically taken a picture of the front and back of the car rather than being pictured by a camera.

    Ignore it or pay?

Walk around the car park and take photos of information signs, ensuring they comply with the private parking code. The code has recommendations around
Entrance signs and the information they must include
The size and positioning of all signs that display terms and conditions
Text choices to aid readability (font, size, colour in relation to background)
Maintenance of signs so that they remain legible

I have won an appeal on contraventions of the code a couple of times.

Ignoring it is always dangerous, as it will likely eventually be passed to a debt collection agency who will continue to pursue.

I was thinking about Dallas as he sheepishly left the pitch on Saturday.

Regardless of what he's on at Barnsley, his footballing career has dropped off a cliff after the play off final at Wembley and our fortunes have gone in the opposite direction. He did well for us and I would consider him better than the other loanees we've had deputising for Will Grigg since.

He obviously didn't fancy us enough to join us on a permanent basis and it's not something I would look to rekindle for that reason, but I wonder what sort of a job he could do for us.

It looks like the only managers to get anything out of him were his boss at Solihull and Cook.
I am sure people will say it’s a big step up from NL to L2, but a bunch of ours have made the transition with relative ease, and of course the best example is Michael Cheek - having his first taste of EFL football at 33.
I’m sure Cook could have continued his development. Too late now Andy, be careful what you wish for.
