1-0 against the team ranked 173rd! Is there still anyone who thinks Tuchel will actually coach England to WIN the World Cup? I'm not going just on that feeble performance, and I made my point before Tuchel took over. Nothing I've seen since he arrived even begins to suggest that Tuchel will get anywhere near Southgate's achievements. No country, including England, is entitled to win the World Cup, but Gareth Southgate had the best go at it since 1966, and I'm afraid it's blindingly obvious that Tuchel will fall short of that level of achievement.
Now you really do surprise me, Friendly, end of season, nothing riding on it. -

My good friend, Astra the Pagan Goddess and Official Saviour of the SPIRITES, was asked by the groundsperson to sprinkle a tincture of coltsfoot, rosemary and sage, on the ground, before planting.
This was done at dawn on Saturday and will, no doubt, bring great fortune for the SPIRITES in the coming season.
Peace and Cosmic Love to all SPIRITES.
Hope they don’t propagate too well. -

Not all players are going to be "investments". When Grigg signed did we worry about his sell on value? Naylor? Dunkley? I seem to remember that most people were joyful when we signed Madden. We need somebody who can get in behind defences, ruffle the feathers of defenders and score goals, this bloke looks like he could be the answer. Regardless of how much he costs the club, if he's going to end up delivering another dimension to the team and Cooky is willing to pursue him then that should be the end of the "sell on" debate.
Most people on this forum have gone from being supporters to managers and now financial advisors. It's football and when all is said and done all we should crave for is success by means of winning promotions and winning trophies, let the Kirk's worry about spending money on players after all, they are the ones who hold the purse strings.
Haven’t the club recently declared our strategy will be towards a development /business ?
Let’s wait and see who accepts their offers this season, I assume the squad size will reduce this time. Our squad will stifle development to a degree unless we have a disastrous injury run.
