I think he’ll be a big player for us this season.
Agree, the link up play second half was a joy to watch,he disappointed at the end of last season but if he can keep that level up this season we have the player we thought we had.

Dibley-Dias is an absolute machine and as long as he doesn’t suffer the injury curse I reckon he’s going to be a big big player for us this season.
Really really enjoyed that especially after the first 20 minutes when I thought we’d get absolutely tonked.
All without Markanday, Mandy and Tanton and also Madden who I rate and don’t want to see leave.

Second half flew past with the quality of play I was not expecting tonight, thought it would be a while before they connected like that.
Like a lot there tonight I was giving standing ovations on many occasions in appreciation of the quality of play.
Main positives for me tonight were:
Passes completed, link up play, one touch and movement, finding space, movement off the ball, hunting in packs to win the ball back, chasing lost causes which turn into 'not lost causes',and all this from the second half display.Any trialists in the second half need signing on that display.(I know, I know,OTT but hey we sign managers on after dinner speaking prowess)
Hope this is a sign of the coming season and if it is we are going to be entertained.

There weren’t any trialists in the 2nd half.
Impressed with Dibley today, put himself about, strong in the tackle and passed the ball well.
The pleasing thing for me in the 2nd half was just how positive we were, and less predictable in terms of going backward or sideways. Lots of good interchange and movement and generally forward!

Wasn't 100% sure regarding trialists for second half, thought there may have been two, thanks for the correction. So many new faces to get used to, perhaps not at the right age for so much change.LOL
