By 'eck, I enjoyed that. I thought anything over 160 would win it for Yorkshire, but that knock of Donald's was something else, right from the very first ball. 43 for no wicket after 2 overs is dreamland, and after that it was a cruise.

The Gold Bud wasn't bad either

Bowled and fielded pretty well, poor Zak apart. They were abysmal in the field which was a delight to see.

Brilliant result, pity about some of the pathetic performances in other games. We need a good strike bowler.

The 43 from first two overs was unbelievable. Completely blew them away.

Felt a bit for Chappell, in county cricket terms Queens Park is a small ground so when it starts going wrong its difficult to pull back. Not a lot of room for error as he, and the Yorkshire bowlers, found out.

While it was probably more than we wanted to give away a decent batting performance makes 200 more than chaseable on Queens Park. The start from Donald was something else and from there it wasnt really in doubt.

Only downside was the Mount Washington running out on the Brampton bar!!

Everything ran out in the Brampton Bar. We were on best, then had to switch to bud, then rose and then the porter ran out so we had to go to one of the others and drink fizzy lager...still by that stage we were pretty much past caring! What a result...

Donald simply blew them away. Can't recall seeing a Derbyshire player batting so brilliantly. Highlight of my day. Poor old Yorkshire.

I did go with a couple of friends from over the boarder. Before the start I did do some ribbing that they'll never win in Chesterfield, i don't know why they bother coming, they'll probably be bowled out for 120.
After the first innings their comment of "200 isn't bad score is it?" with the usual smuggness attached was soon thrown back down their throats with my comment after 3 overs of "that 200 isn't looking so good now is it?"
A highly enjoyable day

Absolutely enjoyable day, an incredible batting display to dine on for some time. There was plenty of them around us at the interval making cocky remarks that we wouldn't get near their 200. Ah well, keep trying, whats that, 8 or 9 in a row now :-)

I think its 8 wins in a row, but they haven't won in chesterfield for 9 years as 1 got rained off.

Even longer in fact, Yorkshire’s last T20 win in Chesterfield was in 2014! No game in 2020 or 2021 due to Covid, and in 2016 the game was switched to Derby (and Yorkshire won).
