RyannColclough take note. Hard work is required!

Not sure why you have deliberately picked Colclough out there.

I’ve seen Colclough put a shift in on a regular basis and help his full back out with his defensive duties.

My only criticism of Ryan is that I feel he should be doing better with his end product.

It should be noted that he was regularly chosen ahead of young Duffy and there must be a reason for that as Duffy was regularly on the bench and fit to play. Now, why do you think that was?

I felt they were all quite eloquent too, which isn't necessarily the marker of a good player, but it does show what kind of dressing room PC is trying to build.

DM seemed genuinely delighted to be back and other two weren't far behind.

As we (supposedly) know, it's all about personal opinions on a forum to create a debate.IMO I struggle to remember a quality performance over two seasons, admittedly the occasional ten second off your seat moment but not a good half or a good game.Has he had a full game in the past two seasons? Not intending to have a dig here, just don't think his head has been in the right place for a while.

They don't even have a manager, yet.

Overhauling a squad after most others have populated theirs' is hardly conducive to a successful season...

The player interviews with the three signings was impressive as we have signed young but experienced players who are hungry for success and know how hard league 2 will be.

Just caught up with these.

Adam Lewis spoke very well and I liked what he had to say.

Looking forward to seeing how the new signings develop and contribute next season.

Maybe the problem is he plays wide left for us, like a winger, so is more isolated with fewer options, like take on defender down touchline and try and cut inside. When I saw him play against us for Alty he was a bit deeper and more central with options to play someone in wider left or switch play to the right

To be fair to Duffy, I think he was kept on the bench as back up for left back, where he can also play. We were very light there for a while

Colclough has been honking for months. He had loads of chances towards the end of last season to prove he was good enough for this level and didn’t take any of them. Shame because he’s clearly talented but he’s probably best to move on.

Yep, I said that at the time. His versatility cost him a couple of starts probably.

My view is that whilst they spoke well it was what they said about hard work and wanting to play football that impressed me.

Not sure this stands up to scrutiny. Duffy didn’t play as against Colclough cos he might be needed at full back?
Why not play Duffy from the start if he was considered better than Coco by the management, and move him to full back if we needed him there and bring on Coco on the wing?

I would think there is as much chance we move Duffy on as Coco. After 5 successive starts when Duffy was signed, he only started 3 of the next 15.

I’ve must have been watching a different player. Disinterested at times, ineffective, not helping his full back, never warming up at half time when on bench?

Talented, yes but frankly he’s no world beater.

Don't think he was bad as you are making out; whatever it will be a brave club to take him off our hands permanently with his court case pending.

It gave the management the option to bring him on in two positions. In a marginal decision it might be enough.

There's something there with Duffy. He's only 22, can use both feet and is decent at shooting from distance. Think we'll see him come on well this next season
Here we go again!

7 goals and assists from 42 appearances is nowhere near good enough.

Although only 16 starts out of that lot adds a little context

Fair. To me, he never really looked happy. Disinterested almost. I think a move would do him good.

I should add that Madden had 9 G/A from even less appearances/minutes than Colclough and pretty much everyone wants him moved on.
