That game was like watching paint dry, an absolute repeat of all the recent senior performances, if they're taught to be that slow at u21 no wonder were so boring at senior level.

Missing a good number of players who would be starting otherwise, but yeah, was a drab performance and even missing those players, the quality of players remaining in the squad should've been enough to comfortably dispatch Slovenia.

Looks like they agreed a deal with DAMAC (whoever they are?) But looks like it was only for a few games.. and don't seem to have a current sponsor

Soilyhull v Bromley was an interesting watch they even got the colours right (almost) proper sh..housery and ref baiting. Only difference being on the occasions Boca or Benfica tried to play football, they could.
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Apparently they had a short term deal with this Damac lot, Dubai based property company, but the rules of the Club World Cup meant they couldnt have another short term deal. Any sponsor they had for this tinpot cup would have to be signed up for the whole of the forthcoming season.

Just over 22,000 there apparently but the stadium holds over 70,000 which explains the numerous empty seats.
I did see something on twitter i think it was where initially tickets for the games were quite expensive but as the start got closer and ticket sales were poor they got the point of nearly giving them away.
