Fellow Spireite, Daz Evers and a mate have volunteered to drive a HGV full of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Daz is taking a week off work unpaid to do this and is wondering if we have a Doctor amongst our fanbase who can do the medical Daz needs to get his licence renewed free of charge. If so can he/she contact Daz directly by email at [email protected] as soon as possible

I'm not sure if it has to be booked thru a dvla approved medical service now, my last one (2yrs ago) I couldn't use my own doctors like I always had, I had to book online for an approved medical service, didn't cost that much (then),might be worth him just checking to be safe or the dvla might return his application. They're a nightmare to deal with..

Is there a way we Spireites can help or contribute in some way with this? I'm sure many would like to help, similarly to how Spireites wanted to support Vlodymyr.

As an aside has anyone heard from him recently?
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

I messaged him a couple of weeks ago but heard nothing, he normally gets straight back to me. Its a bit worrying.

EDIT:

It wasn't a couple of weeks ago, more like months, I haven't heard from him in a long time.

My doctors said they couldn't do it anymore, (or probs can't be bothered) either way it wasn't much of a problem and tbh, it was cheaper thru the medical service I used, and as I had to go to sheff for it, it gave me an excuse for a day on the lash on West street. Win win. 👍
