Not sure. Matlock defo spoke with both through Hilton. Fitzsimmons was all but done until Nolan rang him to come and be No2 for him. They’ve stayed mates since their time at County together. Whitehall most likely got the offer he wanted from Scunthorpe by using what Matlock offered him.

I don't know who the mystery negger is that downvotes any post pointing out the obvious path to absolute disaster Matlock are following- fixed that for you, not that it's important. Anyhow, nice to know Matlock will have Starlink.
Sheffield FC are signing a few decent players for step 5 which they have fallen to- they should be back up soon, though I don't know if they have Starlink.
