Hearing some  vague reports that one or two of our players might have been attacked during the pitch invasion last night anyone got anymore information as to what went off?

Video on twitter from Lewis Gordon of potential racist abuse. Looks like a bloke making monkey noises at him. Walsall fans claiming he is booing but you don’t go boo boo boo. Sorry already covered in the match thread.

We definitely saw Mcfadzean getting into an altercation with some fans . The stewarding and policing was shocking.

Was a bit annoying how a well behaved thousand or so fans in the away end were the focus of the police and stewards attention instead of a minority of idiots on the pitch. I’ve no problem with pitch invasions to be fair but unfortunately they can’t happen due to people being fucking idiots and their first thought is to taunt/attack apposing players. By all means come and have a go at the away fans for banter reasons if that’s your thing but genuinely why would you want to be a dick to someone playing football? Bizarre.

Can't stand pitch invasions no matter who does it. Spoils the moment for the majority (and the players)
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

Totally different today at Wimbledon , no pitch invasion. They were total knobs last night.

Barring a corner flag being launched at the Town fans, it had echoes of the Solihell Moors 2022 playoff semi. Did everything they could to restrict away tickets, then pushed hard to get more local people in the home end.

That's just what I said last night it's as though they encourage pitch invasions and total knobs attending in the west midlands.

The point about pushing hard to boost their own gate is a good one - Walsall managed to find about 3500 more fans of their own for the play-off than were prepared to watch us play them at the Bescot in February. I wonder how many of the pitch invaders came from that 3500.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Plenty of their fans pointing the finger at non-regulars.

Given it's the same police force area, and the same circumstances (playoff, so other local side's fans at a loose end) they should have taken this into consideration when they made their decision to be petty about our allocation.

I hope any fine is doubled for ignoring the possibility of a repeat of three years ago.

I look forward to them losing at Wembley and playing them in August when they will happily give us 2500 tickets.

Exactly this. I don’t particularly like Wimbledon either but prefer them to go up on this occasion.

Yes I hope Wimbledon smash them at Wembley. The ideal scenario though would be Wimbledon 1-0 up with a couple of minutes to go and then the Wimbledon keeper sits down in his area just like that T**t Simkin , karma would be so good!!

The reason I want Don's up is that Walsall is a lot nearer.

Walsall will be a bloody local derby based on next season’s table. League Two is shocking from a locality standpoint. Probably healthier for the bank account us not going up, mind.
