Absolutely brilliant performance tonight…completely dominant against a ridiculously stubborn side.

So so proud of the performance tonight….ifs & buts, who cares!! There should be zero negativity tonight….we come back stronger next season & win the league.

Cookie knows what’s needed …love this football club…makes me proud being a Chesterfield supporter

I think Walsall are more professionally streetwise than us, and than the semi-pro clowns of Solihull, Borehamwood etc.
No way do I ever want us to have a keeper who pretends to be injured, but perhaps we can learn from how stubborn and clinical they were.
Hopefully Walsall lose at Wembley and we leave them in the dust next year.
These go to eleven.

Proud of my team tonight and for how we've performed 1st season back.

We are in a great position to come back stronger next season and either win it or get automatic promotion.

So much to be positive about as a town fan, a fanbase backing in great numbers, owners backing us financially and are town supporters, and a manager that we will struggle to get better.

Time to enjoy the summer and look forwards to some exciting signings

Tell you what. The floor is yours; talk us through the positives of tonight. Not fans, or effort....the performance, and why you think, at 2-0 down, it was the right system/personnel

Agree wholeheartedly with the OP. Very proud of what we’ve achieved this season despite the injuries, the misfortune and the terrible news about Phil - every one of those players and management have pulled their socks up and given their all for our town.

Naylor and Metcalf covered in blood, Mandy almost dead on his feet, Cook losing his voice as always - the passion shown is incredible and I couldn’t be more proud that they represent my town.

Just remember the years where we had passionless pony’s representing our badge - now look where we are. Thank you to all involved for bringing back the club we all love.

Onto next season. COYB.

Exactly back in the EFL made the play offs with 22 players been injured and play the right way too no thuggery or dark arts in Cook we trust and they didn't even sell out tonight either

Please can we move on from the personal rubbish from both sides of the argument and focus in a more detached and readable debate.

It's nothing short of remarkable that we have got to where we have and done so against all the injury odds. Sure, I'd love to be at Wembley, but that would have been the icing on the cake. Next season is something to look forward to

I’m not disagreeing with anything you’ve said — I just don’t understand the negativity and animosity.

We were superb tonight, and yet your response is that I must have been smoking something? Bit bizarre, to be honest.

proud of the club and whilst it is inevitable to feel dissapoitment, i'm not on the floor because the club is in a good place, we have just finished in our highest position in the pyramid for 8 years and next season i'm confident we'll better that again.
