Agree, all about the early/first goal. Would defo bring Dobra in for NAYLOR’s role but not sure whether I’d then play Naylor instead of Fleck. As we need to score would bring Sparkes in for Gordon. My issue is who plays on the right?! Feeling he’ll stick with Olakigbe

I’d play Jacobs ahead of MO, give Mandy some protection
A new hope.

I know what you mean but I'm not sure we have to get an early goal, what we do have to do is keep the ball out of our net, imagine how nervous they become if we get to 1-2 on say the 75th minute,

I agree completely.

If they score first it’s goodnight Vienna.

In an ideal world we’ll get an early goal but I’d be more than happy with a positive performance but going in at half time 0-0.

Pulling one back after an hour or so gives ample time for them to buckle and us to win the tie.

Would Jacobs offer protection?

If Jacobs is in the pitch he has to play centrally and look at threading balls through from tight spaces

The person Mandy needs to offer Mandy protection is Mandy.

Jacobs has never really looked comfortable wide, always been better centrally, and not sure why folk think he would offer more protection.

It’s all about making the most of our chances (stating the obvious) but Colclough’s chance when he went for power over precision would have changed the whole game… it was also one of those games where things didn’t quite fall our way… if they go our way tonight I have a sneaky feeling we’ll do it in extra time!!

Think Walsall will sat back and look to hit us on the break. Agree if we go 0-3 behind on aggregate it’s all over. If we score first then it’s game on.

Just like to see a bit of passion and fight tonight from us please.

Having watched the game live and then the full game on Sky, Walsall weren't anything special on Sunday. Bradford City were much better when they were on top at ours.

Had the ref pulled up the (debatable) high foot at the start, or any of our 3 players closed down, they wouldn't have got their penno.

Had their lad had the same luck as Colclough at the other end, his shot would have been deflected wide.

The 2 goals isn't ideal, but we are a better football team than Walsall on Sunday's showing and have every chance of progressing.

On the team. I'd not have Fleck in the squad. I'm not a fan of Banks, but he's a better bet than Fleck on the bench - if fit. I'd have Olakigbe on the bench and start Duffy. I'd start Sparkes over Gordon. I'd start Dobra.

Basically it's the team that Westbars posted, I think - the link to which I can't find.

Anyway, COYB.

Wow. An opportunity missed. Still reckon we should have gone 352. Still love to know where Naylor is supposed to play.

I don't have Sky, so I'm weighing up whether to go to the ground or not to watch it on the screen. It's either that or follow it on here.

Would never want to put anyone off going to the ground but if people cant get and need Sky Sports access, I might be able to help with a discord watch along. Let me know if anyone else needs it.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Hope I’m wrong but I think we’ve missed a trick with that team.

I think the midfield is better, personally don’t like it when we play with two wingers, I feel we are less effective behind the one up front
