Oldham 3-0 up in 12 mins against Halifax in the NL play offs. Not often you see a side make a double substitution after 12 mins but Halifax just have.

I was just thinking about this based on the other thread on here about the jump to league one. How many of our current squad get into either of these teams? I don’t think any. Dobra on the bench possibly. Metcalfe potentially in the future.

I suppose the fact that Markanday is on the bench despite being one of our standout performers this season says it all.

Just flicked it on out of interest of what's being said.
Fist 10mins of 2nd half showed me the gap between top half of L1 & L2 is quite a bit

*although we did beat LO that time 😉

Looked a pretty clear back pass to me and think the keeper thought it was as well or he’d have just picked it up to start with.

That should be the type of player we are targeting for ournew recruits for next season whatever division we are in.

We have seen all to recently with Bradford and with Walsall whats required if we want to progress
