Not like where we sit Dave in the West stand some proper moaners don't even clap or stand up when we score all you hear is constant moaning and unfortunately it's getting worse and I know evreybody can have a view but this going over the top and no wonder Cookue shakes his head as he can hear most of it .

They're probably following the wrong pastime.
Maybe they'll like visiting Kabul for a spot of public beheading or Saudi for a bit of stoning.
I call myself a supporter because I erm support my team and the club and I thought that's what it was all about.

I agree some need to have a serious word with themselves and all you hear is I told you so and constant dragging players down instead of getting behind the lads come what may

I didn't last long in the West Stand and not just because the first seats were adjacent to a peado. It was almost frowned upon to support the team vocally!

You'd think that, the way some talk,we should be beating teams 4-0 every week, and if, perish the thought, someone makes a mistake, they should have their fingernails pulled out, and I think some would do it personally too.

progression means to me bringing the age of the squad down and finding some hungry midfielders in the mould of metcalfe who can press quickly and in pairs.

'Quickly' is the important word. On Sunday we were playing good football, but too slowly against strong, sharp, speedy opponents. The first 15 seconds of the match set the tone for what followed - a long hoof from their keeper was headed into a central position for an untracked man to run onto and carry unchallenged to well inside our box, forcing Boot to save with his foot and giving them an early corner. The current midfield has done well, as has the whole team this season, but to progress we are going to have to be sharper, stronger and quicker. This applies whichever league we are playing in next season.

Anyone watching the Sunderland v Coventry game?
Been all Coventry, since mid first half, but looked like they would never score. Now they have. Tie level.
Hope we give it as good a go as the Sky Blues.

We've got to see how various sides go into away games either one behind, or level before Friday.

Yes, though I had both Scottish playoffs on other screens. Cracking.

Not sure what it has to do with CFC progression- coming back in the away leg, I suppose? I was fairly neutral at the start of the match as I had nowt against either club but I was soon 100% behind Coventry after the diving of Isidor and the general softness of that Le Fee. What a disgrace to the proud legacy of Shackleton, Montgomery, Quinn and Buchan these players are.

And shoot when you get the chance. We're due a lucky deflection, a bounce in our favour.

I was thinking that after Sunday.
Would we have shot like Chang did through the sea of bodies? Or looked to recycle to someone behind or in the six yard box?

We don't tend to. The referee for Friday appears to love to dish out the cards so hopefully he's willing to crack down on what could be timewasting from minute 1.

That's another thing we are well overdue. Two of them would be lovely. Or 5 at the end will do.

I can only see them time-wasting if we get it to 2-1. While they lead by 2 they will bombard us at pace to get a 3rd goal to kill it off. Their style is to get forward quickly, as they did at our place at 0-0. They got a shot on target, forcing our keeper to block it for a corner in the first 20 seconds. Their manager worked out ages ago that the most effective way to negate our pass - pass - pass game is to be quicker, stronger and more direct, and it has worked repeatedly. The only way our gane will beat them is if we carry it out extremely quickly and accurately. Last Sunday we played slowly, giving them loads of time to cover, and our passing accuracy was inconsistent. That's why their method overwhelmed us, and that is where we need to improve.

Was up at the game last night with my Sunderland supporting other half. Brilliant atmosphere and never heard a noise like it when the Ballard header went in. Ridiculous scenes. Just shy of 47,000 there…really hope Sunderland do go on and win it, one it’s the blunts and can’t stand wilder but also it would be a fantastic achievement with a young exciting side competing against sides taking in parachute money etc.
