Is it the same set of officials on Friday?

No. Someone we've not met since before our national league days.
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Never the twain shall meet.

How did we do it against Accrington? By inviting them to hit the woodwork twice?

I don't understand your point ?

You stated we do it. I don’t recall seeing us do it in our most important one goal win of the season.

Only time I recall Boot going down for any length on time was Swindon (A) before the penalty. Given he'd just clattered into Kabby, and what happened earlier, it certainly wasn't tactical.

I too would like to see evidence that 'we do the same'.

Well not quiet. What percentage of our game is reliant upon sh..housery compared to other teams in the league?

My wild guess we'd be less than 10% with some attaining 60ish%

An in play clock stopped and started by the 4th official … he'd stop it when the balls out of play, basically when the balls off the pitch before a throw in and corners, for player injuries and for substitutions…. That would sort it.. and result in a perfect 90 mins of match play.

One of the better ideas amongst good 'uns on here. It's really that simple. If you went to a cinema and only saw 1hr 35 of a 1hr 50 movie - there's be issues. Likewise having7/8 of a pint of lager.

And there lies the crux, we don't.
And that's why PC gets cautioned so often remonstrating with the 4th offical that they, the officials aren't doing their job ie letting teams get away with sh..housery

All this shathousery is nearly as crooked as politics and all those meritricious dribblers.
People are occasionally banging on about moaning cos we lost. If we'd have been 2-0 up, their 'keeper of the darkest of dark arts' would have been miraculously cured of all ills.

Never seen a keeper do it yet when their team is behind.

Simple way to stop it happening to you is to be more positive and try and get the first goal.

Let’s be honest, there’s very few bigger shithouses in our league than Dobra. Every team does it to an extent.

Never when losing though.

That, and he does it deliberately to fire up the home crowd.

Don't agree it's deliberate, it's a natural reaction to incompetency.
If deliberate it's proving very costly and why do it away when it may have an adverse effect

you dont need the clock stopping every time the ball went out of play. other sports dont do this including rugby. its at the referees discretion. the solution needs to be with referees enforcing the rules and cautioning players who are clearly time wasting. its in their power to do it, they just choose not to. as another poster put earlier, this is why cook loses his rag because officials turn a blind eye to it. Just like they do with the 6 second rule. when has anyone ever seen an indirect free kick given for a keeper holding the ball more than 6 seconds?

Correct. The clock should stop every time there is a stoppage for an injury, substitution etc.

It should. But what will that tell us? Maybe what a complete shambles time keeping as been in recent years, very embarrassing for those involved. The 5 added minutes on Sunday was a disgrace and what's to say the lack of time could have cost us a vital goal. No probably not but there's moaning value

we could have played for another 20 minutes and not found a breakthrough. They looked comfortable throughout with the exception of a few minor moments.

True, but we'll never know. It was wrong totally wrong and not doing the time keeping right only encourages more sh...housery and the paying customer is the ultimate loser.

Personally I think if they go down more than once (save if there's a collision) the rule should say the have to be subbed off / if there's no subs then they still have to go off. That'd stop it.
