Said before KO that the watering has only caused us problems over the past several games, just seems to be our players that slip.Is this another action that requires monitoring?

To enable the ball to move swiftly across the pitch, only requires a light watering, but we seem to be playing on a rice paddy.

Watering of the pitch and length of grass in designated areas to gain home advantage is a tactic used in the Premier league, the Arsenal V Man City game springs to mind

Wager on it?

You’re so confident so let’s say we don’t qualify at FT and I get we qualify at FT or it’s a draw? If I’m wrong £10 to give to you to do with whatever you want , if you’re wrong £20 to Ashgate.

Let me know

Painfully expected.

well the wait is almost over, this week has certainly dragged along, i wonder if our players have that almost caged animals type feeling going into this today, i suspect if i were a player/coach that might be how i'd feel, whereas for walsall there could well be that nagging feeling of nervousness to not let slip what they celebrated like a done deal last sunday.

I wonder who instigated that cute tactic? ! Could do with our groundsman going to the same classroom as theirs.

When you win away in a knock out competition it's a downer having to play a second leg imo

I was at the Sunderland game on Tuesday night and i noticed that prior to the game and at half time they only seemed to turn the sprinklers on in the half of the pitch that Sunderland were defending. Could have just been a coincidence and could just be the order they water things but they were on for a good while at half time in only the one half of the pitch.

Didn’t Sunderland move the advertising hoardings closer to the pitch to try neutralise Cov’s long throw expert?

Yep a considerable distance in although it didn’t make a lot of difference. He only had about one chance to do it all game and he still comfortable reached the 6 yard box.
