As I’ve said before we don’t do things like that enough but yes he doesn’t make any contact but it’s a two footed lunge by Jatta that gives the ref the chance to make that decision.

I know I may be in a minority, but, just because other teams do it doesn't mean we should. I hate to see it and it drives me mad when Dobra rolls about on the floor. I may be old fashioned, but i prefer sportsmanship to gamesmanship (cheating).

Not a red. Convinced the 4th official gave that…. In the refs ear!! That said, his reaction could have got him sent off twice!!

You clearly don’t know the rules then pal. Double footed challenge of the floor ?! How is that not a red 🙈

Most, if not all of the pundits agreed not a red pal! His left leg was on the floor and way behind the right leg!! Agree, it gave the ref a decision to make but shouldn’t have been a red card

Yeh the whole intent thing, soon as he jumped in like he did he was in trouble whether he makes contact or not.

Maybe that rolling around is pushing it but we can’t certainly be better and smarter about getting in the officials ears about things especially the opposition time wasting, grappling at corners, fouls on us etc.

We beat Wimbledon at Wembley if we get there I tell you. They play so compact we’d open them up on that pitch

100 percent red. Even if no contact that’s reckless

Isn’t reckless a yellow card and excessive force a red.

Both feet were off the floor with studs showing. He didn't get close enough to hit the player, who made a meal of the challenge, but the intent was there. He has then pushed a player in the face and had a clip at the guy who was on the floor faking injury. Will be surprised if the red is rescinded

Unfortunately not mate, mrs is heavily pregnant with the next Jack Lester so no last minute dashes.
Alas rest assured the Sydney Spireites Supporters Club #SSSC will be out in force.
Ear marked this time next year for a trip back to watch us go up to the championship though 🧐

2 aweful sides, Jatta off with 3 match ban and Mcgoldrick limped off badly near the end. We have to pull our socks up tomorrow and do tye job without any calamities. With a fully fit squad we can beat anybody on our day.we the fans have to be patient and get behind the lads to the end. We can do it.

So if we don't win the playoffs are we awful too?

Totally agree with your sentiments, and I would hope, even with the way the modern game is going, that we are not in a minority.
