Most disappointing performance I’ve seen in quite a long time. We made a side that was bang out of form and there for the taking pick up an easy win.

Can’t see anyway back at there place. Damage was done by ourselves.

Big clear out and go to win the league next season.

Hopefully AFC Wimbledon beat this anti-football outfit.

You say this almost word for word after every defeat. ‘Mu
Most disappointing performance since… big clear out needed.’ How did you cope during the years of decline?
You sound like Brian the Blade with his word for word repetitive radio calls.
And yes I agree it was a poor performance, especially first half, however I also acknowledge decent performances, unlike some people.

I'm fuming.
Can't really fully put into words how we've not turned up and how we've managed to give them two goals without filling my post with expletives.
If Cook had nipped to Turkey for a full rug, he'd be ripping it out in handfuls. Let be 100% honest- Walsall are not that good.
We've shown little urgency after the gift of two goals.
Again, it shows (to me at least) out of the starting 11 who should not be here next season.

On the flip side, if Cook plays the correct side next Friday, we are in with a punches chance at 0-2. Unfortunately, unless we score one and grab another, the ref will let them run tbe clock down again at any given opportunity

I can't believe Olakigbe survived half-time. Imo the wrong side picked and regardless of that we were the absolute worst version of ourselves at the worst time which makes it all the more disappointing.

Absolutely crap from us, poor game all round , they didn’t exactly set the place on fire and walk away with a 2-0 advantage due to 2 absolute gifts from us. Mandy terrible. Olakigbe terrible(I’d have dragged him off at half time) , I could take 2 nil if we actually showed up but we were dreadful , never built any pressure. We did absolutely nowt. Well done to the folk giving it large on social media for the last week by the way, made us all look like cúnts 👍🏽

It reminded me of the Preston playoff game at home. Never really showed up. Let’s hope the 2nd leg is different.

Let’s hope it isn’t like the Preston second leg too!

At least there was some effort in that game, couldn’t score as the dick Allen never gave money for a proper striker once he’d flogged Doyle.

Today we were just completely shit and lacking in effort.

To be fair we had a man sent off early doors in that so it ruined the whole evening but I get your point. I absolutely hate being negative , especially considering how well we’ve done to get here but I’m genuinely fuming about the performance, it’s one thing to lose but we didn’t do anything , it was an awful game and even worse performance from us. They’ll be laughing their heads off , did nowt and 2-0 up. I genuinely expected a Doncaster type of performance, not necessarily the scoreline but getting at them from the off, putting them under pressure but it was so slow and lethargic. Still cannot believe Olakigbe wasn’t dragged at half time. Pathetic showing.

I just can't believe we played so badly. Shocked and disappointed.

It did feel like a bad day at the office today. Far too many players had stinkers and delivered 5/10 performances instead of their usual 7-8/10. I'm struggling to think of a MOTM.

As much as I dislike time wasting, there's no merit in Fadz or anyone else going on Radio Sheffield bellyaching about their goalie. We didn't do enough to win the game and at times, we play in such a way that we can run our own clock down, even at 0-2 down in the first leg of a play off match.

We need something special on Friday.

That was the league game. It was 11 vs 11 on that evening in May, Beckford scored early from a counter attack. It’s the day that knob Cameron won the general election so it was a double whammy of shit.

Has to start Sparks - automatically started to ping crosses in, but when only Grigg in their box, it's a tough gig. Need people attacking the ball
Has to start Dobs - our most creative and attacking player.

Don't start Gordon - he's anti attack minded
Don't start Coco- he couldn't beat an egg atm
Don't start Olakigbe - do I have to explain

Need to go full at it on Friday, whats to loose now! If it was more than 2 goals conceded, I'd forget about pulling back tbh. We can create enough to potentially turn it around as it stands

Mixed feelings. For starters we made 7th in the first season back. That’s a huge positive. We scored lots, and managed 7th in the back of the worst injury crisis I can ever remember (and I’ve been going for 35 years). However at times the football has been frustrating and I’m
Looking forward to seeing younger, fitter players and saying thank you but goodbye to the likes of fleck, Mcfadzean, grimes, madden (hopefully), Naylor (hopefully). New era begins.

Walsall defended in depth and kept their shape making it difficult to break them down.

Two sloppy goals given away.

Mandy was below par and Olakigbe may as well have sat with me

Without the two goals I would have thought we had a good chance in the second leg but they will defend deep again but you never know, it could go to extra time yet

I hate the 'modern' game with all the time wasting, especially from the keeper. It needs sorting out

It’s easily sorted.
Score first.
Teams don’t tend to do it when they’re losing.

Ah ok, always had it in my head we were down to 10 early doors. Either way , both games were underwhelming weren’t they , it all fell apart after that.
