I love how fleck has now become an un drop able midfield dynamo. He was long written of by most on here, me included to be honest.

That experience will be massive. Did the new pope paul cook have this as his master plan all along ?! Who know ?! I wouldn’t at all be surprised.

Key men for me in play offs. Dobra, fleck, Mandy and grigg. If they turn up we win

Fleck, even during his cameo appearances, pushed the ball forward accurately and at pace, plus he was pointing to where the ball needed to go next. We've had some fantastic ex Sheffield United players in the past, and it looks like we have two more in Fleck and Macfadzean. I agree with your key men, definitely.

The 3-1 isn’t relevant

Boot over Thompson

Back 4 will be completely different

Will be Fleck and Metcalfe as opposed to DJ and Naylor

Grigg will play

At least 8 changes, probably 9

Just look at their results and fall down the table since that guy went back to stoke. From Christmas their form was relegation form.

Not relevant over a two leg tie in afraid they'll be well up for it.

Pepple missed a sitter from 2yrds
Duffy also missed a good chance.
2nd half was awful.

Though I'm expecting a positive outcome on Sunday,
I think we should be careful not to mislead ourselves by comparing our recent excellent form to Walsall's recent poor form. Yes, they've lost their main striker, and it shows, but they are still a dangerous team for us to face. In our home game v Walsall back at the start of the season, they surprised us because we're used to teams sitting back and letting us have the ball. They came at us from the start with pace and power, and threatened to sweep us aside. I'm confident PC will have a plan to combat them, but I'm not sure that the likes of McFadzean, Fleck and Metcalfe, despite playing well recently, will be a match for Walsall's speed and strength. There will also be a lot of pressure on our full/wing backs because I recall Walsall's wide men being very dangerous. It will take a huge effort from us to combat them, but if anyone can set us up to succeed, it's Cooky.

I wish we'd left at half time. If we'd walked we'd probably have got back before the coach did too.

Yes I remember they were fast powerful and a lot of tall players. It will be a tough game no doubt about it but the crowd will be the extra man for us and we are better against good sides. Lets get at 'em early on, should be a cracker.

We were hanging on for a point in the home game, just booting it up field in the last few minutes with 11 behind the ball

They will probably be getting at us early on too. They will want to dampen the crowd by pressing hard and scoring first. Hope we can get off to a good start!

This has to be a different game surely as teams have not afaik been hanging on for a point against them since Lowe departed. Quite the opposite is indicated by their results since then. They clearly aren't what they were and we have to take advantage

Yes he did. Only one brief appearance in the cup after coming through the juniors, but he did.

Youth team Blades, first full contract Blades, sub appearance in League Cup v Shrews in 2005 replacing Keith Gillespie...kinda did!

Straight reds count for playoffs.

If they do it's for players and not coaching staff (which would be weird) as the commentator just pointed out Paul Terry was red carded during Leyton Orient's last game but is on the bench today 'as red cards don't carry over into the play-offs'.
