I won an appeal the other year by pretending to be a landowner, writing to the manufacturer of the parking pay machine, requesting the technical specification of the parking machines (including reliability statistics of the machines) and questioning the validity of the ticket on this basis.

In short, if you make a bit of a case, they usually just quash the ticket rather than expend the energy fighting you...

Anyone else recieved a parking fine from the home game 21/4/25 for parking behind asda?

Been parking here for years with no issues. Looking at the photo’s it looks as though a parking warden has walked around and physically taken a picture of the front and back of the car rather than being pictured by a camera.

Ignore it or pay?

Why on earth would you come on here and air this ? Pay it and park someone sensible next time. The car park
Is for customers

Jeez ! Don’t try and make this lot face reality, half of them wouldn’t be able to cope

But a very true one. He parked somewhere knowing there is a time limit on it and went over his time. Pay it and move on. People are so quick to play the victim.

I always park on Gloucester Road, five minute walk and avoiding Sheffield Road on the way out.
Slighlty more football related….did the club have a house there at one time ? I used to see Brian Frear down the Hare and Hounds on a Saturday night with his pitcher.
