We are as good as any team in the league on our day, the injuries have killed our momentum but if we make the play offs our returning players are at a good standard of freshness. If we make Wembley it should be bedlam.

The last 12 games (over ¼ of a season) has yielded 2.08ppg. Over the season that's just shy of 96 points.
If we're "going for it" next season sprinkling better quality all over the pitch, it's gonna be a fun journey, (if we don't go up of course)

It's sad in that this season was likely an open door for promotion but for the mass injury situation which has left us with just a last day long shot. Next season who knows...other teams will strengthen too, but I'd expect us to be up there.

Not to discount the injuries, but we've also been guilty of failing to make mome ts count
Looking at the table we're only 8 points off 3rd, I think we could all point to 4 draws where we should have come away with victory
2 penalty decisions spring to mind immediately. Mandys miss at Bradford that could gave put us 2 up before they went on a remarkable run to put them on the bring of promotion
Conceding early against Colchester at home, failing to break down Harrogate
Whatever happens it's been a pleasing return but we must be challenging next season with no excuses in my opinion if we arent to make it this season

Not so good when 7 of the games were at home. The "truer" average is 1.92 ppg.
Though a win on Saturday would get us to a "truer" average of 2.15 ppg.
