If his pace round Poolsbrook for the Park Runs is anything to go by he's definitely fit enough to get a game still

Gary finished in 3 hours 14 minutes and 36 seconds with an average pace of 7 minutes 25 seconds a mile. 👏👏👏👏

Placed 5255th, that is in the top 10% or so. Very impressive.

That is very good as top runners in clubs all aim for that time and in that heat too brilliant effort 👌

I did that walking back to the car after the match and I struggled with the half a mile to where I was parked so he really did do well.

Tough old day yesterday in the @LondonMarathon heat , pulled calf at 18k which killed my target sub 3 hour. Thank you everyone who sponsored me, every penny means a lot to this great charity @AutismEastMids
