Sorts the men out from the boys(pardon the pun) .The hard core supporters who will be there even if we loose both matches over the weekend. The sad thing is that with our ticket allocation procedures as they are, some of those hard core fans won’t get a ticket if we win both of those matches.

Not been to an away match all season, but I wanted to go to this one as it's the last game of the season. Hospitity is £59 so decided to do that instead of waiting for the tickets to go on sale.

I’ll be there irrespective of the league position. It’s about the day out with family and friends and supporting the team.

Agree mate , should have put them on sale today so that us that want to go whatever league or position we are in can get one. It's about supporting your team win , lose or draw not just when we are winning , that's the easy thing to do.

Many would argue the easy thing to do is to go to the game every Saturday with your mates regardless and please yourself.

It could be argued that the more difficult thing to do is to manage your time between children that have different interests and pastimes whilst still being able to be present for the more significant events within your chosen clubs history.

Luckily the club do away allocations with that in mind and allow those of us with a slightly wider spectrum of weekend commitments to make informed decisions.

Not really.

What makes a hardcore supporter? How do you judge?

One who goes to Colchester on a cold Tuesday night. One of the hundred that went to Aldershot Tuesday night. Bromley tues ,Woking Tues, etc.and keeps doing it win draw or lose. The people that go to those matches are usually the same bunch and know each other.

I'm very much like you, it seems, regards my away support.

However, I do think the "hardcore" (150-250) should get first stab at away tickets. Imagine going to all 45 league games only to be denied by a season ticket holder buying one for a non-season ticket holder.

That sh1t happens, and it's wrong. Imho

Surprised if anyone going to every game wouldn't buy a season ticket. Or even most games. Away days are expensive. Those who can afford to do it regularly...can they not afford a ST? Doesn't seem to add up really.

Even more so now when you can pay for ST interest free over 4 months

The points are:

1. that all the 150-250 "hardcore" are season tickets holders.

2. If we beat Bradford, demand will far exceed the 1,000 supply

3. it's well known that season ticket holders who aren't going to an away matches, buy them for friends/family etc. who want to go, but who aren't season ticket holders themselves. Go on FB's Kop Choir and see how open they are about it.

Fair enough. I don't go on FB or X.

We will get more than 1000 anyway: the terrace alone holds more than that, let alone the 3/400 seats they give as standard down the side

The reason Carlisle only have been given 1060 is to prevent them having a massive support advantage in a huge game for Accy.

Bradford were given 2600 the other week, so I expect we will get whatever we need, especially if Accy are safe by then which I expect they might be

You'll probably be proven right for this match, or we wknt sell out the 1,000. Hopefully, its the former, because we're still in with a good shout after the Bradford game.

However, my points still stand for any away game where demand exceeds supply.
