Same Madden who hasnt played since he had a bust up with cook in April infront of the West Stand? He's off.

Is this the same Madden who was having one to one training with Ben Partridge in JD Gym the day before the 2nd leg at Walsall?

Now if it was me and he was ‘left to rot’ I wouldn’t be focusing any individual physio time towards him.

People argue in football, shows passion and he won’t be the first or last player to get ‘aggy’ with Cookie. Maybe he felt he could have made a difference in the game and was angry he wasn’t selected to come onto the field? Jesus the amount of fans who get mardy regarding timings of Paul Cook subs, so you can be sure the players get frustrated as well

The club have an obligation to keep players fit and look after them. Unless he was injured, why wasnt he involved towards the end of the season and through out the play offs? critical time of the season, nowhere to be seen..?

From what I saw in the gym he had a plan in place and was focused on leg work, the other injured players were left free to roam and workout how they wanted but he was referring to a sheet with Ben

Pointless as he wasn't injured he was left out. If he was part of our plans he would have played in the run in and in the play offs.. Read the room. Surplus to requirements. The signing hasnt worked, we move him on and get him off the wage bill. You are also aware while he is under contract we have to keep him fit etc?

No as my above post stated he was doing targeted leg work which if you “read the room” means he’s injured 🤕

Mardy? In my case I was frustrated when we wait 80mins and more to chase the game.

Believe me Lindave I’ve heard some people get the hump on big time, it’s frustrating yes I agree so imagine being a player that feels they could impact the game and is not selected to come on the field

I did like Pepple as he opened teams up but he was weak in front of goal where Madden is strong in front of it but wasn’t fully able to get a good season or run under his belt. I reallly do think with a good pre season and a hamper free run he could be quite a strong addition in the Number 10 role

So back on topic...the only reasonable 'rumours' (so far) regarding players are:
  • Dilan Markanday
  • Malik Owolabi-Belewu
  • Ollie Pearce
  • Dipo Akinyemi
  • Jenson Metcalfe
  • Dillon Phillips

Not heard the Phillips rumour but sounds good
Akinyemi was a monster for Ayr United but injuries have taken their toll and I'm not sure he would fit our style of play.
These go to eleven.

Some page on twitter is reporting the same. Only 338 followers though...

"Dilan Markanday is set to sign for Chesterfield.

The winger spent the first half of the 2024/25 season on loan at The Spireites before spending the remainder of the season at Leyton Orient.

He is set to sign a 2-year deal."

When was the last time mandy played through the middle of the pitch or off the striker? He isnt a banks replacement at all..

Away at Doncaster. We won 3-0. Mandy was excellent.
