A reminder as well of how we had the back of the net cameras when in the NL, but not the EFL. Very often a completely different perspective on the build up play.

That first 15 minutes we were horrific, absolute domination after that we were brilliant

Yeah it all changed when Mancini went off injured!

Regan Linney poised to join Carlisle. Appears Cook is going all in for Ollie Pearce then.

Unless he’s got a relatively low release clause, can’t see any chance of him coming here

Was the mystery L2 club that O’Rourke mentioned us then?

Between us and MK as it stands. Can’t see much happening during the short June transfer window as Cooks on his holidays. Most likely things will start to take shape after June 16th when it reopens again.

We do seem to be one the clubs that tend to wait for official contracts to end before announcing things.

Interesting move from the club if we pull it off isn’t it. 200ishK on a centre forward with likely no resale value.

He got the injury before the play off final

Disagree.

Was at the game. Waller played and missed lots of chances.

Think the injury happened in a friendly against SWFC.

Once highly rated by many on here and one many would have liked us to sign, Anthony Mancini of Hartlepool, has been released by them.

Seems to have dropped off the cliff a bit in terms of where his career was heading.

He looked a tidy little player to me
A new hope.

If Waller had recovered he would have signed for Grimsby a deal was in place.
I know who dealt with his injury at the DSS at the time.

He played little more than 9 mins and hardly had a kick, he was far from fit. And Tomjoad is correct he had agreed a deal with Grimsby.

Probably never seen him play yet stating “he will suit us”

Seems a strange comment.

Plenty of footage on YouTube if you want to have a look but when I’ve seen him play he’s strong, can get in behind (which I think is something we lack), a good passer, good enough on the ball, can come deeper to pick the ball up if needed.

Overall looks a well rounded centre forward who can do a bit of everything well.

Personally I think that’s what we’re looking for.

Either way just trying to have a chat, the passive aggressive comment was a bit weird.

Mr memories are it was Plummer who missed the chances. He used up all his goals in the semi final against Stockport
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

I'd be definitely having a look at him cos he was ripping us a new one before going off injured at ours.

I seem to remember he missed a half decent chance in the second half but I don’t think we created that much did we?
