In that case I'd be happy to see Harvey Araujo back in the squad. I rate him and he's got decent pace, which none of our centre backs have, although Tyrone Williams was no slouch, but I don't think we'll be seeing Ty starting anytime soon.

I too am already labelling him as a key signing, which is probably a bit daft after such a short time. Perhaps the best yardstick is to consider how much better he is than Oldaker, of which I'm already convinced, rather than opining that he'll definitely keep an experienced Welsh International out of the team.

EFL regulations allow clubs more freedom to borrow players, but a maximum of five can be named in a matchday squad.

No club in the Championship, League One or League Two can sign more than four players on a temporary loan from another club in any season - and no more than two of those can be over the age of 23 (the deadline for determining a player's age is June 30 ahead of the season the loan takes place).

A lot have alluded to it, but i've checked the EFL handbook 24/25 (This seasons isn't available yet, but I presume this element won't change):

55.4.2 No Club may sign more than 4 Players on a Temporary Loan Transfer from another Club (or club) in any Season, of which no more than 2 Players may be over the age of 23. The deadline for determining a Player’s age in this respect shall be as at the 30 June prior to the Season in which the Temporary Loan Transfer is intended to take place. Any Temporary Loan Transfer which subsequently becomes a permanent transfer shall not count against a Club’s quota of such Temporary Loan Transfers for that Season.

So, with that being said, we currently have Tanton (21) and Dibley-Dias (21) so we could in theory sign ANY two other players on loan from Fulham.

Wouldn't mind us having a look at that Adama Traore.
