Agreed. The man’s a machine anyway, he’s better centrally but he’s such a good footballer and adapts. I don’t think signing markanday is the end of the world for Mandy or us. 2 fantastic players.

Pick a position and Mandy could probably play there, and make a good job of it, although he may need a trip to Shuttlewood if he's to partner one of the centre backs.

In a tweet after the game Friday he said we’d come back stronger next season, which maybe doesn’t too it to him leaving?

As alaways - we're kids in a sweetshop atm. Banks a clever player but there's a reason he's in L2. Fascinating 6wks in store

I think Mellon was Ollie's manager at Tranmere.

He was. Can’t see him being Oldham bound as the fans absolutely despise him. The common sense would be York. They offered him a contract last summer prior to him resigning with us.

The irony is that that's the role he's been playing in possession for much of the latter part of the season, playing inverted wingback.
That said, to relieve him of his defensive duties would help free him up higher up the pitch. I still would like to see him play primarily in the attacking midfield three given his end product is probably our best at the club (and possibly up there in the league).

Mandy's end product is the best in the club? I'd argue it's his biggest shortfall tbh. Love the bloke but he'd be better providing the goals than scoring em.
