Sorry but that is rubbish. And he was excellent when he first signed for Orient just for some reason fell out of favour.

He got rinsed by Wellens for not being fit enough and not being in games enough and also on the back of that the Os fans didn't take to him either claiming no end product

Not being fit enough is absolute shite, I watched him press his little arse off game after game, pressing machine he was!

Let's hope that's Orient out of the equation. This would be a tremendous signing by Cook and the Kirks and would set out our intentions for next season.Good luck to them.

Markandays a classic example of how people clamour for a loan players. Good player but often went missing in games and has proven at Leyton orient he isn’t league one quality.

Probably our player of the season in reality

Orient won't want to commit to anything until they know what division they'll be, especially as they already seemed lukewarm on him.

Consistently our best ball winner/leading on turnovers in his time here, and one more player other than Dobra prepared to run at packed defences from a central position. If folk think we can recruit better players than Markanday, be prepared to be extremely disappointed.

Not that I think he will end up here, likely too expensive. But we can hope.

Kyle Knoyle released by Stockport. Would he be worth a go?

If he’d have remained here until the playoffs he would have been the top scorer easily for us. I fully (sadly) expect him to end up at a club like Lincoln or Port Vale in League 1. I’ll be shocked if he’s back here.

Scored 9 League One and Two goals this season. Bettered only by Grigg of players on our books.

Markanday was my poty until his recall. He got bums off of seats everytime he drove forward.
Please elaborate about going missing, he had quite times, as do all players when they are not being passed to, but going missing?
As per his time at Orient, not good enough? How do you know? Or was it that there was a player even better than L1 status keeping him out of the side, or he just didn't suit their style.
He would be a top signing for us.

He started off fairly quietly but soon got into his stride. What he never did was hid and would be back tackling and winning the ball in his own half.

Depends on their stats in possession, I’d guess they are lower than ours so defensive duties more a premium

My only reservation is that his best position is the same as Mandy's. It would be a nice dilemma to have though.

Wouldn't be able to sign for someone til June I think. He'll still technically be under contract til then.

Any interested parties will have him sorted now, just waiting for the official deadline. Remember Cook likes to get his business done early.

Possibly but he's better than Mandy.

If I’m remembering correctly Mandy was in and out of the team when Markanday was here, and had reduced involvement on set pieces etc because Dilan took more corners. So, there would be trade offs in recruiting him.

I’m sure we’ll be talking to him at least but let’s not push the boat out wage wise.
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Not really an issue is the moves possible. Markandy is better than Mandeville and you can’t pass up opportunities to improve the team.
