Pepple has all the attributes but the one that really matters

Sticking it away.

Quigley scored more...

I would welcome pepple on a season long deal. Nothing more.

Anyone hearing any names being banded about?

Irrelevant. The only ones that matter are the ones the club announces. That said, rumours do keep this board ticking over

Any rumours or gossip anyone?

I reckon we might see our first big signing in the next fortnight and I reckon it will be a big statement of intent, just like Will Grigg two years ago.

According to some on the Notts County forum, Steve Fletcher is on his way here ???

Wasn’t he the guy we were supposed to be signing in January but the deal was pulled when Mullin got injured at Wrexham?

Thing is with signing another top draw striker, Cook prefers to play one up top.
If it would be Mullin/Fletcher/A.N.Other signs up, would they be sat on the bench?
Would Grigg be relegated to the bench? Would Grigg be on his way? Would Cook switch tactics to accommodate two strikers?

Fletcher made the vast majority of his Wrexham appearances from the bench. A role he and the Wrexham fans were very happy with. He did great for them.

Can see grigg being 'managed' ala jack Lester in his final year playing in just the home games.
Here we go again!

I clocked his age on Wiki and had to make sure it wasn't the one we signed from Bournemouth.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

He still works for Bournemouth as the 1st team liaison officer/Match Day Host/Club Ambassador.

I think he'll be older than the clockmaker. Because we're looking at the older player, here's hoping I'm in Cooks plans for stand in left back whilst praying that Lewis Gordon has an injury free season. I think I'd be comfy on the bench in those new seats, although I'd need the one nearest the toilet 😁.

Then who would have triggered it if it is the case. Those types of deals are usually both ways I think?
