Dallas’s display for Morecombe at the end of the season was pathetic, he looked totally disinterested and not fit. It’s about time this was put to bed, he’s only scored 6 (SIX) goals in 59 games since leaving us, a centre half scores more. Take off those rose tinted glasses and see him for what he is, rubbish.

I don't disagree with this, Dallas was good for us in his short spell, poor since.

I will however caveat that with the great SJL had only scored 12 goals in 3 years prior to joining us, our team and system played to his strengths and we all know how that turned out.

Not saying Dallas is a good comparison to SJL but you never know what might happen if he comes back, I don't think he will be though. Think he may have burned his bridges with the gaffer.

Nothing concrete but no mention of Dallas thankfully, ruined my summer last year

Any truth in the rumour that the Whattsapp group had had a cull?

Or at least had its wings clipped?!

It almost doesn't matter what he's like as a footballer. He clearly doesn't have the work ethic we do or should want in the team. He has consistently had fitness concerns...and I'm talking actual fitness...not injury fitness. He hasn't got the temperament for it.

He looked a handful when we played Barrow and was an unused sub when we played Morecambe here in the 4-1.

If he came cheap, he'd be a good squad option.

One would think he wouldn’t be controlling the negotiations this time around

I'd take him back in a heartbeat. He doesn't hold all the cards anymore, he knows he scores when he plays for us and we know what he's capable of. All signings are gambles, look at how many people were w*nking over Maddens arrival and the less said about that the better.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Incorrect. Just quiet barring the Enda Stevens stuff, Simon.

He holds the cards. He's got another year left on his contract at Barnsley earning more money than we would pay him.
He's moved on, so should we.

With Barnsley but not with us

They can pay him up if they want to

I agree with all of that, a non league player picked up by an EFL club who obviously taking a gamble which is what Barnsley do. Soon found out he wasn’t going to make the squad and loaned him out.
Sour grape Spireites sounding off again, if he had stayed who knows what it would have meant.
God I hate this league.

Why did he get all the games with us during his loan.

Depends how keen Barnsley are to get him off the books?

Two seasons ago a league lower where he had done well but since that spell he's done nothing and not showed anything to suggest he is going to do anything. If Barnsley do want him out then he is going to have to work hard to earn a move to an EFL club. Half a chance he is going to end up getting loaned out somewhere again and then released and more than likely on current form end up back in the National League or scottish lower leagues

I'd prefer looking at Macuaulay Langstaff than Dallas

I'd prefer looking at Chloe Kelly than either of them, personal choice I suppose.
