After the AGM in April, a few of us were told that Dilan’s return in the summer was very much a possibility. He’d kept in touch with our staff and some of the lads, and by all accounts he was missing life at Chesterfield.

You just keep these things in the memory bank and if they come off, they come off.

Yep we can’t underestimate the part his successful loan spell with us has played in getting him permanently. Without it I suspect we’re not in the hunt for him.

As much as we saw what he offered he saw why we as a club offered for him going forward.

Last season, everyone was talking about our major threat in Dobra, now it’s Dobra and Markanday. Wow, just wow! Huge credit to the Kirks for building such a solid foundation. The future of this club is seriously exciting!

I’m surprised he’s signed for us but over the moon with the new addition. Class player that will do well for us again.
