That right back is going to be a very good player. Happily have him here!

I really don't get this attempted justification for our resident clown. He's a self-important pillock who gets a pathetic kick from winding others up. I really wish every single poster would, like me, simply totally ignore every thread he attempts to open. Let the sad individual talk to himself.

If that lad moves close season it won’t be to us.

A proper player there and destined for a great career in the game at a much higher level than L2

Not that stunning when the thread starter is seen. By all accounts he is a piss-pot loud mouth that knows very little about football and isn't afraid to show it. It was clear after about 4 minutes that the Gillingham full back was extremely good. My only criticism might be that Cook didn't do what he often does and swap the wide players over just to change it up and give them something to think about.

He is far from alone. It isn't a pleasant prospect looking at the message board after a defeat or even in this case a draw.

May I politely point out you have just added to his thread. I ignore them but when others contribute there is little point boycotting them and occasionally they turn into a sensible debate when more rational types take over.

Spot on.
There are some on here that aren’t just unpleasant and unwelcoming towards other members but frequently hostile and sarcastic. You wouldn’t know we support the same team. Whether it’s because it’s football or the nature of online forums I’m not sure. Both probably as there is plenty of unpleasantness and downright abuse on non football forums whilst I have frequently seen fans of other clubs squabbling on their forums. At least it is not unique to Bob’s Board.
As is frequently observed hiding behind what they believe to be anonymity (of course it isn’t really as people can be relatively easily traced if necessary) they say things which they probably wouldn’t face to face.

Duffy got absolutely no help from Gordon when trying to get us forward up the pitch.

Would he be the man that Colclough mesmerised in the move that led to Grigg's goal?

"Mesmerised"? LoL. Coco was played in by a perfecty weighted ball by Fleck, that was crying out to be crossed in on the first touch. The same player was also 77mins in to the game, so nowhere near as fresh as Coco.

Mesmerised is a real stretch.

I'm talking about responding to his opening posts. If nobody does it, it fades away.

That's such an irrelevant comment that I think you must have attached it to the wrong thread.

That is a perfect world you're describing but I agree. People seem to think responding to him with the same old [valid] insults is getting one over on him. However, I guess that is water off a ducks back to him and it would frustrate him far more if they were just ignored.

Wasn’t it Dobra who played the ball for Coco to cross for the goal? Or was that another move?
Just seen the highlights, no it wasn’t lol

That pass was the type of pass which we see far too little of in modern football.

In my day we were Tod to try and pass the ball ahead of the player so that he had something to run on to and he could take it in his stride. Today, passes seem to be to feet, chest, or head which results in a winger, in particular, being motionless when he receives the ball giving defenders every opportunity to close him down. How can a player be expected to get up to speed from a standing start with a defender already stood in front of him?

To be fair to Colclough, at his best that’s one thing he is pretty good at.

I notice that too. I've lost count of the many times a player has to stand still to wait for the ball which gives them chance to get back and organised........Madness
