Will look in detail later this week, but I am out tonight.
Quick look, wages up from £3.9M to £5M. Transfer fees contracted for in the year to 30 June 2024, £100,600. Who would that be for?

I think we are in good hands and not in any need of my professional services.
Let's keep it that way.

• Losses entirely funded by Kirks share issue
• Per the Directors Report- One player [Berry] signed from step four has subsequently been sold for many times the original cost
• Again from the Directors Report- Return to EFL is significant for increased revenue guaranteed by the football authorities
• The high wages (my take) probably include large player and management Championship and Cup bonuses
• We received £15k for player sales
The value of the Community Trusts shares, per their accounts, in CFC have been mostly written off.

My immediate thought is if the club continues to make operating losses, ensuring these are covered or mitigated as far as possible.
I'll continue buying a Euromillions ticket. If I win the jackpot, one of my first calls will be to the club to see how I can help.

Caldwell had nothing to do with the development and selling of Ollie Watkins, Ethan Ampadu, Matt Grimes et al which has contributed to their exceptional well being.

Question is how do they pick up such good youngsters. Remoteness from many other clubs?

Got it in one, those three players all born within distance of the club and not huge compeition locally.
If we're in that situation you have Forest, Sheffield Utd, Sheff W, Derby all sniffing around the same talent.
