Boot will be looking for a 2 year contract, and if we only offer him 1, he will be off as he will almost certainly get a 2 year deal somewhere.

I'm not sure 2-year deals are that easy to come by for keepers of Boot's profile.
I was impressed by his passing last night- his calmness on the ball has certainly improved. He's way better than Thompson at present.
I'd be happy to see Boot stay for another year but I think replacements of a similar or better standard will be available.
These go to eleven.

Give him a 2 year deal but look for a second keeper who is even better

Felt for Boot being sold down the river by Grimes. Looked like he wanted to go and borrow Ronnie Moore’s gun!
"Do you think I'm here for your amusement" & good riddance to bad rubbish

Just seen it on YouTube and it was worse than I remembered from last night, my only explanation is that the Carlisle player was camouflaged with his hideous green shirt and by being so close to Grimes.

The shirts were awful and the numbers barely legible from the stands. My dad and brother are Wednesday fans and asked me to report back on how the Wednesday loanee was doing and told me his shirt number, basically said that was no use as you couldnt see the numbers. In the end it was a short report back of barely touched the ball then was subbed because they couldnt stop his nose bleeding!

That's exactly what occurred to me; the kit was obviously obtained from an Army surplus store.

I have seen that kit once before, covering the seats on an East Midlands bus.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Don't tell the bus nuts that, they'll buy up all the surplus kit.
