Tbh there's probably not alot more I can add to what you've already put on here, and no doubt that has gone in your email.
Tbh the only time I was asked for my ticket, he was told where to go in just 2 words,.. I've been in that stand for 3 or 4 yrs now.. but this season they seem intent on killing the atmosphere in there..

The turnstile already alerts through some lights on the back of the turnstile if a non adult ticket is used but the steward was stood watching and didnt seem to bothered about doing much more.

Is there a pair of rare birds nesting over the unopened gate? It just seems barmy having a very young spotty faced steward looking all embarrassed telling folk they can't exit by route one.

It might just be me but this sort of crowd management just seems shambolic throughout many events these days. We went to the new Co-Op Arena in Manchester to watch our daughter in Young Voices (Which was absolutely brilliant by the way) a few weeks back and getting in and out was just a mess. The staff involved just seemed to be trying to make it as difficult and long winded as possible for people to get in to the venue and away from it after the event.

Think yourself lucky, they don't open the exit gates at all, not even for sell out crowds on the north West corner... everyone has to funnel back under the concourse to get out..

Cheers, got the email.
I believe the emails are forwarded to both Phil Tooley, the chair and Dr Stankard, the board representative on the forum. The emails get to Phil, but it appears there's a problem between the clubs email and Dr Stankard's, so it bounces back. Phil's going to report it to SBK and see what can be done about it. So hopefully sort out 2 issues in one.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, email [email protected] and report it

I've asked about this in NW corner before, I think one of the problems maybe that the ambulance and paramedics/St John Ambulance staff park outside those gates so there may not be room for people to exit there.

I was just seeking the logic behind the ruling, a directive that must come from above. The logic on this practice beats me but doesn't really effect me apart from putting 1 minute+ on reaching the boozer.
Just seems ridiculous, especially for the ones having to use the lift and not being able to use the exit next to said lift.
Maybe, reading your explanation for not opening all exits in the north of West stand, they mistakenly think it applies to the south as well

Then use the corner under the screen, those gates are never opened due to the location of the away fans now.

It can't be right that we have to join the Early Bird scheme in order to secure our usual seat.

We have a mate in a similar situation, who knows a seat in S5 will become free because of someone not renewing so his plans was to buy on at the early bird price and email the club to move the seat to the one that gets freed up once they become available

As stated, if you wish a seat move then renew to get the Early Bird price and email your requirements.
Best to send to tickets@ email with "seat move" in the subject. We will take STs off sale for a few days after early bird to tidy-up and facilitate seat moves. This makes the two dates impractical for releasing seats.
Seat moves require new cards, if you chose a plastic card rather than an NFC (phone wallet) one then there is a £10 charge.
