FYI, issues with W7 and S5 are people standing in places that aren't their seats, which is including the stairways. This is actually costing the club money because they need more stewarding and it is also something that could affect the safety certificate if it affects emergency staff from accessing an incident.
That's why everyone on those areas are being asked to provide their tickets and prove where their seat is.
If people want a singing section, then can I suggest emailing [email protected] to bring it up and get it taken straight to the board. There is another drop in on Thursday 3rd April at 7pm, which will also be streamed on YouTube (see official posts for the link).
As always people need to communicate with the club and not just think that 1 post on social media will make a difference, it needs direct communication.

2nd May

The early bird pricing expires on 2nd May but interestingly they only hold your existing seat until 30th April, mean there will be a few days where you can renew at the early bird rate, but pick news seats (seats potentially taken by an ST holder now assuming they don't renew by then).

I’m a season ticket holder in W7 and I will happily push back on this. I’d even be willing to sit down & discuss with relevant authorities. You can’t have stewards demanding to see tickets (they only ask males btw) & then stand 2/3 abreast themselves in the walkway. The way the supervisor steward looks and speaks to fans is an absolute disgrace. She’s got the worst attitude I’ve come across for someone who’s being paid to make things run smoothly. She arrives, gives her orders & then slopes off elsewhere so they doesn’t have to deal with the blowback. The contracting company have brought this on themselves with their blatantly awful treatment of home fans.

In regards to ticket checks.. it isn’t random. It’s the same faces who they ask week on week. There was probably 15 lads on the row in front of us last week who were all in the wrong seats. The stewards didn’t do a thing until ST holders demanded they did as they couldn’t access their seats. The company are an absolute shambles in how they treat fans.

I’m right on the end of W7 and as soon as I put a foot on the yellow step I get someone telling me to put my foot infront of the seat. Yet away fans can stand all over the walkways & blocking them. Make it make sense.

Do the club want mine and my pals money for a ST renewal? You’d expect so, so something needs be done because it’ll boil over at some point.

Agree with this, the female supervisor has a real attitude problem and as one of three 70 year olds sitting together in S4 (S5 side) having tickets checked whilst 12 year old Burberry boys just climb over seats and avoid the gangway does not fill me with hapiness!Way to go security!!

Zelda (the female steward) has a proper chip on her shoulder, walks round with a face like a slapped backside, and isn't approachable under any circumstances, the stewarding on the steps in W7 is beyond a joke, the lads stood on the steps used to stand right up the back mostly outta everyone's way, now we have stewards usually 2 abreast right down the steps causing more problems than the lads ever did...

Yes the stewards supervisor woman is not the best.
IMO if you're having issues with stewarding it is also your responsibility to report it to the club and not let it get to the point where it boils over. If there are several people in the same areas with the same problems that are reporting them, then something might be able to be done about it. If even 1/3 of the people in w7 and s4/5 emails and expresses issues with how the stewarding is handled, then they will have to do something about it.
The matchday safety officer has put his point across in the last supporters forum committee meeting (which is what I have posted above), so fans need to voice their opinion and then a dialogue can be opened.

Are you not a member of the supporters forum? Surely you can use the handful of posts above, including mine and put the message across without folk needing to send emails which more often than not don’t get addressed. Mine was a direct reply to a supporters forum member in yourself.

I was told to 'move along' after standing at the end of the entrance tunnel for W6 i think it was. I was stood there for around 5 seconds at 2.40pm. Yet, there were people all over the hatched yellow lines chatting away and nothing done. Being a steward is a natural jobsworth role and always within swearing distance of higher authority. Consistency is the key and I don't think it's there all the time.

She reminds me of a Nazis SS Commander the ways he struts about without a smile on her face. The rest of the stewards around us are pleasant and helpful.

There's a huge difference to me reporting 2 or 3 posts on bobs board on my own to 5 or 10 or even more people actually reporting it.
I don't have the same issues so can't speak completely about the problems that you and other fans are facing, yet if you and others email the forum then it'll be brough up to the CFC board officially.
The more people that raise the issue, the better.
I was already going to bring up the issue on Thursday, but surely you can see that more than 1 person bringing up an issue is better 🤷‍♀️

Can you provide me an email address please for the forum & the stadium manager. Yet more farcical stewarding in W7 today which led to me having a frank conversation with the supervisor during the 2nd half.

I’ve sent an email last night and had a 15 minute chat with the lady supervisor during the 2nd half. Feel free to PM me if you have any issues and I’ll add it

Some timid looking youth weakly gestured for me to show him our tickets at the bottom of the steps (S5) and I just ignored him cos I'm hard like that 😂
